On November 30, digital administration authorities from Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui announced the establishment of the first cooperative mechanism to promote digital integration in the Yangtze River Delta region. The initiative focuses on eight key areas, including secure and reliable data circulation, the cooperative development of computing resources, the creation of a unified regional network, integration of the data market, coordinated development of the digital economy, urban digital transformation, government service data sharing, and public data utilization.
In response to emerging trends, the authorities proposed several reformative measures. These include building a secure data circulation system utilizing blockchain and advanced data space technologies, developing an optimized system for computing resource allocation, and establishing an integrated platform for public data registration. These efforts aim to accelerate the digital transformation of the Yangtze River Delta region, fostering innovation, collaboration, and economic growth in one of China's most dynamic areas.
