The 12th Changzhou Jingchuan Cultural Festival and Crabapple Blossom Festival kicked off on March 22, with this year's festivities extending until April 6, encompassing a span of 16 days.

Jingchuan Park will be showcasing an array of Chinese, North American, and Japanese crabapples, boasting over 2,000 plants across nine varieties. The Weeping Crabapple stands out as the most prolific among them. Presently, approximately 30 percent of the Chinese crabapple varieties are in full bloom, predominantly gracing the central lawn, southern slopes, and along the river and its environs.

Beyond the captivating display of crabapple blossoms, the park will be bedecked with seasonal flowers including Primula, Pot Marigold, Dahlia, Aster, Nasturtium, and Sakura. Additionally, visitors can revel in the scenic beauty of the park's natural surroundings, offering a delightful experience for nature enthusiasts.

Moreover, the festival will cater to the younger audience with a plethora of activities tailored for children, ranging from themed painting and calligraphy sessions to captivating storytelling sessions, ensuring a diverse array of entertainment.

Taking advantage of its inclusive platform, Jingchuan Park will also play host to a range of community-oriented activities such as book tours, flower festivals, and tree adoptions, aimed at fostering engagement among residents citywide.
