Beginning from July, the standard for unemployment insurance is increased from 1,350 yuan to 1,410 yuan per month, according to the Notice on Adjusting the Standard for Unemployment Insurance in Changzhou.
Unemployed individuals are entitled to receive unemployment benefits if base pay of 4,533 yuan has been made for them locally, the Notice said.
The new policy is implemented in Changzhou’s districts of Xinbei, Tianning, Zhonglou, Wujin and Jintan, and the county-level city of Liyang.
